The Myrtle Cup is a new format for the Myrtle Open added in 2018. This is a Ryder Cup style format consisting of 2 teams which were captained by Tom Vigilante and Mike Tuscano. Team Vigilante won the inaugural cup by one point. Keith Potter was the team MVP by going undefeated with a 4-0 record. Potter, along with MVP runner-up Scott Leff will be captains for the 2019 Myrtle Open.



The 2019 Myrtle Cup was held in Pinehurst North Carolina. Team Leff Prevailed with an amazing comeback on day 4 coming back from a huge deficit on Day4. Team Leff won the singles matches 5-1 to give team Leff the win by 1 point. Led by MVP Joe DeSanto



The 2021 Myrtle Cup was held in Williamsburg, Virginia with Captains Joe DeSanto and Bernie Porter. Team DeSanto took an early 2-point lead on day one and never looked back. Although only down by 2 points going into singles matches on day 4, Team DeSanto prevailed winning four day-4 matches for a 9.5 to 5.5 overall victory. Led by MVP Scott Leff with an overall 4-0 record.



The 2023 Myrtle Cup was held in Myrtle Beach once again Captained by Mike Meyer and Joe DeSanto. The matches were all tied up after day 1, however Team DeSanto won 3 to 1 on day 2 and 3.5 to .5 on day 3 all but securing the Cup. Team Meyer fought hard on day 4 but fell short 4.5 to 3.5 giving Team Desanto the largest win in Myrtle Cup History (13-7). Team DeSanto was led by MVP Mike Tuscano and Scott Leff who both finished with a perfect 4-0 record.



The 2025 Myrtle Cup was held in Myrtle Beach once again Captained by Greg Block and Mike Tuscano. Team Tuscano was up one after day 1, then after a tie on day two, was still up by one. Day 3 was a shutout by Team Tuscano and The Team won on day 4 4.5 to 1.5 points giving Team Tuscano the overall dominating victory by a final score of 11-4. The team was led by MVP Ron Weeks who finished with an impressive 3-0-1 record. No one on the team finished with a losing record



Keith Potter was named the Myrtle Cup MVP with a perfect 4-0 record and only had one match go to the 18th hole

Joe DeSanto was named the Myrtle Cup MVP with a 2-2 record along with 4 other teammates but let the team and winning the MVP by having the biggest winning margin in 2019

Scott Leff was named the 2021 Myrtle Cup MVP with a 4-0 record. 3 matches didn't even make it to the 16th hole.

Mike Tuscano was named the 2023 Myrtle Cup MVP with a 4-0 record. Only one match made it to the 18th hole.
